You'll receive a confirmation email and SMS with a link to your online session, 24 hours before.
All you'll need to do is to follow the link at the time of your appointment.
HOW IT WORKS
After you've finalized your booking online, you'll receive a confirmation email.
Next, you'll receive an email and an SMS, 24 hours before your session. This will contain the online link to your session.
At the time of your session, click the link in either the notification email or SMS sent to you the day before.
Finally, add your name and select Join meeting. Make sure to allow access to your device's camera and audio when asked.
COST & DURATION
Sessions are 50 minutes in duration, with the following 2 rates:

Cash Rate
R896
+ 15% VAT @ R134
= R1,030 (Payable on the day)

Medical Aid Rate
R896 (Covered by Medical Aid)
+ R170 Admin Fee (Payable on the day)
+ 15% VAT @ R160 (Covered by Medical Aid)
= R1,200
If you are NOT on a medical aid, or your medical aid will not cover the session, we will send you an online invoice via email. This invoice will have a direct link to our secure pay-portal through which you can pay online using your debit/credit card.

Can I claim back the cost of a session from my medical aid?
Yes you can, depending on your medical aid provider, plan, and available benefits. We'll send you an invoice that you'll need to forward to your medical aid provider, and if permitted, they should pay their approved rate.
Can you claim directly from my medical aid?
Yes we can, but for your first session you'll need to pay online, which you can then claim back from your medical aid.
What is the cost of an online session?
All individual sessions are R 850, if you pay yourself, however, if we claim directly from your medical aid, we then claim at the specific medical aid rate.
What do I need for an online therapy session?
1. You'll need the 'Zoom' app and a free 'Zoom' account.
What is 'Healthbridge' & how does it work?
'Healthbridge' is a service provider that provides a service to Psych Central, as well as many other medical professionals. It is an online service enabling you to conduct a secure online video call with your psychologist.
